My name is Dianne Latta.

I am a values oriented professional and practitioner who is enriched by, and in continuous pursuit of learning from life and others. I work with Mind Matters Consulting and Primary Mental Health Care; a small practice based in the sutherland shire of Sydney Australia that also offers its services nationwide. I am a qualified and credentialed mental health nurse (ACMHN) and registered nurse (AHPRA) with over 20 years of clinical experience in mental health. I also possess clinical experience in medical, surgical, cardiac and aged care nursing, and older people's mental health. I have worked in the hospital (inpatient, outpatient and emergency), community and primary health care setting; and across the private, government and non-government sector in Sydney, Australia. I possess a well-founded working knowledge and understanding of the New South Wales health care system, and hold extensive experience in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and government and non-government agencies to advocate for, and deliver responsive mental health care to patients. For over 11 years, I also worked as a University Lecturer and Undergraduate Course Coordinator; developing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating Nursing and Mental Health Courses in Sydney, Australia. My contribution to Higher Nursing Education was recognised with a Vice Chancellor’s Award for Initiatives that Enhance Student Learning (sub-category: Innovation in curricula, resources and approaches to student learning). I am an experienced professional mentor, coach, and clinical (and non-clinical) supervisor to current and future professionals working in, or aspiring to pursue a vocation and career in nursing, mental health, and the psychosocial disability services. Professional Mentoring & Supervision

We offer professional mentoring to aspiring and current professionals delivering clinical or psychosocial disability support to individuals with a lived experience of a mental health condition or a psychosocial disability. We also offer Clinical and non-clinical Supervision to professionals working in nursing, mental health, and in the psychosocial disability sector. Our approach is evidence informed, values oriented, and supports the development and strengthening of one’s courage and grit. Individual sessions are delivered via Videoconferencing or Telehealth. Consulting Services

Mental Health Clinical Services & Coaching

Our practice offers individualised support to people (between 16 years - 64 years of age) through Mental Health Nursing services; and Life, Performance and Academic coaching. With extensive experience in mental health care and higher education, our practice specialises in delivering our services to: High School Students so that they can manage and flourish despite their lived experience of a mental health issue or a mental health condition; University (undergraduate, postgraduate or higher degree by research), TAFE and Vocational Students so that they can manage and flourish despite their lived experience of a mental health issue or a mental health condition; and Adults (with or without a lived experience of a mental health issue or condition, and/or psychosocial disability) who are seeking to optimise their ability to manage living their path in life. Our approach is evidence informed, values oriented, and person-centred. We acknowledge the experience of suffering which arise from, and outside the egoic mind, and with this; support the strengthening of one's inherent capabilities from within. Individual sessions are delivered via Videoconferencing or Telehealth. We welcome self-referrals and referrals from professionals and agencies. Speaking Services

We offer guest lecturing and public speaking services in the subject areas of: mental health and psychosocial wellbeing, spirituality, nursing and mental health nursing. Our process and implementation is individualised, versatile, and able to cater to a broad range of audiences ranging from the private and public education and training sector to not-for-profit and community organisations.
